How to use the Custom Fileds in Oplead?

Custom fields give you greater flexibility by allowing you to collect additional information tailored to your specific processes.

🔍 What Are Custom Fields in Oplead For?

Custom fields allow you to collect specific information about your leads—beyond Oplead’s standard fields.

Need to qualify your leads with more detailed information?
Want to run analyses based on data that doesn’t have a dedicated field in Oplead—and maybe reuse it in external tools or your intranet?

👉 Custom fields are made for that!

🧩 What Do Custom Fields Look Like?

First, what are the options?

You can create custom fields of different types:

  • Text

  • Number

  • Date

  • Time

  • Dropdown list

And display them in different locations:

  • In the "Request" tab of the lead’s profile

  • In the sales window (when logging the lead’s sales status)

👀 Where Are Custom Fields Visible?

Custom fields appear in several places:

  • On the desktop lead profile ("Request" tab and sales status window)

  • On the mobile lead profile (in the summary and request sections, plus sales status)

  • In the external forms

⚙️ How to Set Up Your Own Custom Fields?

If you have access to the platform settings (gear icon at the top right), go to:

Menu: Lead Fields
Tab: Custom Fields

  • Click the "+" button to create a new custom field

  • Choose a name for your field

  • Choose the type of field (for multiple choice, you'll have to also create the possible choices)
  • Choose the location of the field
  • The code for the field will be automatically generated based on the name

💡 This code can be useful for automated workflows (via API), to import information into your leads, or export it to another tool (e.g., intranet, CRM).
